A few years ago AccesSurf hosted a beach day on Lana’i and we met a lot of wonderful people that day and Josh Bogle from Maui was one of those people. Josh has a deep passion and love for the ocean as a surfer and an environmentalist. He joined the Hawaii Adaptive Surf Team and has represented Hawaii at the World Adaptive Surfing Championships and has been traveling the world surfing!
Let’s meet Josh…
“I first became a part of AccesSurf on a Lana’i trip.
AccesSurf was visiting from Oahu, hosting a Beach Day. I took the ferry to Lana’i from Maui to see what it was all about. I believe that was March 2018 and later that year I got a chance to compete in the Hawaii Adaptive Surfing Championships during Duke’s OceanFest in Waikiki.
Over the past two years I have been fortunate to have fallen deeply in love with adaptive surfing and traveling around the world. Adaptive athletes and especially surfers have a unique ability. That ability is to share Aloha and spirit both on the water and on the beach” Josh Bogle, Adaptive Surfer
