We are so excited to announce that registration is now open for this year’s “Hawaii Adaptive Surfing Championships” presented by us – AccesSurf!!
This year’s event will happen as a part of Duke’s OceanFest in Waikiki, with competition days being August 21-24th.
What is totally new this year is that we will be crowning an overall champion! The top placed competitor from each qualifying division will then compete in a mixed adaptive super heat, the winner of which takes home the very coveted “Duke’s Cup.”
This year’s event features six competitive divisions including Sit*, Stand/Kneel*, Prone*, Assisted*, Deaf, and Wounded Warrior. We hope to expand each division depending on our registration totals – for example adding Men’s/Women’s or A/B groups as well as more specific surfing style accommodations.

In addition to three day’s of world class competition we’ll be hosting lots of other events during the week of Duke’s Oceanfest – including our opening ceremony, a movie night, a “Talk Story” night, an adaptive surf symposium/working group, and more.
Below you will find a link to our registration page that has specific information for competitors. Be sure to register early, before May 15th, and save $25.
