We have been so very lucky to have the dedication of people like Damon Elias to keep our programs going! He has been a key leader with our Day at the Beach overseeing the assisted swim area and well as a leading member behind the scenes developing our adaptive swim program

‘I got involved in November of 2009 after seeing a sign for volunteers. I thought what a great way to get back into volunteering and I get to spend time in the ocean. DATB gives me the pleasure of meeting new people and getting grounded. No matter how you’re feeling or what’s going on in my life, I know that when I come here it’s just about the people here and it clears my mind. It’s the best therapy that I get to go through and it benefits everyone. Coming here is a WIN-WIN. The kindness of everyone and the fun is why I keep coming back’
