All of our event are made possible by the incredible dedication of SO many volunteers.
A few stand out among the crowd and MELISSA MILLER is one of them!
She is always willing to go WAY above and beyond at all of events but also takes time to meet up with the Adaptive Surf Team to help as they prepare for the World Adaptive Surf Championship.
Thank you Melissa for being SUCH a big part of the AccesSurf ‘Ohana.
Here is a what she has to say about AccesSurf…
‘I started volunteering with ASH after hearing a news report that some of the adaptive boards were stolen. Since I moved to Hawaii in 2002 I have wanted to find a way to give back. ASH is a perfect match for me, I am able help people and share my love of the ocean.
As a volunteer to get so much more back than I give. Sharing the stoke is such an amazing experience. Every day I am so grateful that Mark and Rich started AccesSurf. I have met some incredible people here. I am inspired every day by the participants as well as all the volunteers.’
